Pastor Wendy Erb serves as part-time pastor of the Sand Hill United Methodist Church and lives on a small farm outside of Marietta, Ohio with her husband, David. She has three grown children and eight grandchildren. Before answering the call to ministry 13 years ago, she was a stay-at-home mom, newspaper columnist, tour guide and secretary. Returning to College in 1988, she earned an associate degree in applied business and has completed a Course of Study program required by the United Methodist Church. Born in Coventry, England she recently celebrated 43 years of living in the United States, arriving in Marietta on July 4, 1966. Pastor Erb truly believes the hand of God has been working in all her varied experiences to bring her to this place at this time. Her prayer is that Sand Hill will continue to witness to the love of Christ in creative and inviting ways in order to work toward the fulfillment of its vision to be a “haven of hope through Jesus Christ. |
